The Social Reckoning is a drama written and directed by Aaron Sorkin (IYKYK) that dramatises the 2021 Facebook whistleblower leak and The Wall Street Journal’s ‘Facebook Files’ investigation.
I really enjoyed this! Jeremy Strong is Mark Zuckerberg, Mikey Madison is Frances Haugen (the whistleblower) and Jeremy Allen White is WSJ investigative journalist and they’re all great. Strong couldn’t be more perfect as Zuckerberg - you just get the sense with that guy that he doesn’t have to work too hard to be a liiiittle more intense than your average Joe.
The Social Reckoning is excellent (3.5 stars for me) and I’d definitely recommend it. It’s in cinemas now, runs 112 minutes and is rated M. Trailer here.
