TUNER - film / by Stephanie Puls

Good old fashioned Hollywood storytelling … HECK YES!

I really enjoyed Tuner, I reckon it’s excellent.

Leo Woodall plays Niki, a piano tuner with super sensitive hearing. He works for and is mentored professionally and personally by Dustin Hoffman’s Harry. There’s a bit of comedy, a bit of romance, a bit of crime and a bit of thriller packed into this drama and it strikes me as the kind of film that no one could really dislike - perfect for couples or groups of people with divergent tastes.

Here’s a proper review in The Guardian - 4 stars - if you’d like to know more about the film. It’s in cinemas now, rated MA 15+ and runs 109 minutes.
